MyFitnessPal lacked a centralized, scalable way to curate and maintain food data, resulting in inconsistent taxonomy, poor data quality, and slow updates across the product ecosystem for over 20 million foods. "Food curators" were using an inefficient piece of software to manually edit each food individually.

Solution
I designed a modular, role-based UI that simplified complex data and taxonomy management into intuitive workflows, enabling non-technical teams to curate at scale
I interviewed cross-functional stakeholders to unify the vision for a scalable data-curation platform
After synthesizing the information, I implemented improvements to Curator workflows with a single end-to-end system that allowed them to edit multiple foods at once




Etsy: Star Seller Platform Dashboard
I streamlined seller workflows by reducing friction in creating, managing, and measuring offers and performance standards, leading to better seller adoption and usability
Elevated seller quality standards and transparency by designing clearer guidelines, feedback loops, and tools that motivate sellers to deliver exceptional buyer experiences beyond sales volume
Shipped time-saving features like Auto-Reply to streamline business processes (like messaging), resulting in less time responding to customers

Developed intuitive tablet and bedside ordering flows (Instant Ordering Express & Advance Ordering) so staff could take orders from bedside or tableside, and sync orders directly to the kitchen in real time
Integrated human factors principles into the design and development process, accounting for perceptual, physical, and cognitive abilities in the use of products and services
